Origins

Recently I was studying teachings from a recent General Conference, and I noticed three things:

1. The vast majority of General Conference talks are given by men.
2. When male speakers at General Conference quote the teachings of others, those others are mostly men.
3. When female speakers at General Conference quote the teachings of others, those others are STILL mostly men.

Because most of the conference speakers are men, then if an individual is giving a talk on “faith” or “tithing” or “repentance,” most of the quotes she finds will be men’s quotes. This site is intended to provide a steady stream of quotes on gospel topics by women. Not all of the quotes from from latter-day saints, but most are.
